At the same time, compared to traditional glass substrate panels, they are much thinner and lighter. The thickness of the light-emitting layer is only about one percent of a hair, and the total thickness of the overall module does not exceed 0.2 mm (millimeters), which makes electronic devices thinner and safer. For example, indicator lights used in vehicles will not shatter or splash like glass even if they are hit. In addition, it has the characteristics of being flexible and not easily broken, and can also set the flicker frequency and brightness, allowing the lighting to have more adjustable and color changing functions.

Moreover, the soft color of LED is closer to natural light than ordinary LED, and will not affect the human body. It is also suitable for use in museums and other places where general lighting may harm exhibits. At the same time, since the module is a flat light source during production and manufacturing, it does not require various light guide molds to improve the lighting effect like ordinary lamps. It is not only simpler in product planning and use, but can also be designed according to the decoration needs of homes or shops, including lamps and walls with curves or bends, and can even be made into different shapes such as circles and triangles to meet more diverse needs and add spatial atmosphere.
