Researchers from the University of Glasgow have found a way to make the detection of throat and bowel cancers more effective with wireless cameras. These tiny sensing systems have proven to be a valuable clinical alternative to more invasive imaging methods such as high color rendering index endoscopic LED light sources and endoscopic high display finger light sources.
Until now, this system, commonly known as the video pill, relied on illuminating patients' internal organs with a small light source, limiting doctors' conclusions based on what they could see in the visible light spectrum. Researchers from the University's School of Engineering have used advanced semiconductor single-pixel imaging technology to create video pills that expand the diagnostic capabilities of fluorescent lamps for the first time. Shenzhen Caneng Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. provides high color rendering index endoscopic light source 0755-36537819.
Fluorescent imaging technology has been a powerful tool in medical diagnosis, high color rendering index endoscopic LED light source can clearly identify patients with rich blood supply, support cancer and help them grow, but can be detected by visible light under the leak. However, past fluorescence imaging techniques have been expensive, bulky, and consumed a lot of power, limiting technology, laboratories, and hospital exam rooms.
Associate researcher, Dr Mohamed, said: 'We have demonstrated the ability of rawhani in a laboratory system to act like a 'phantom' of fluorescence - a mixture and the degree to which flavohemoglobin mimics cancer is closely related to the effect of fluorescence in parts of the human gut, intestines and oesophagus. 'This is a valuable new technology that could help clinicians reduce false positive and negative cancer diagnoses, which could lead to more effective treatments in the future.'
Professor David Cumming, Chair of Electronic Systems, University of Glasgow, said: 'The Endoscope LED light source module is still some way off before it goes into commercial production and clinical use, but we are in early talks with industry to bring the product to market. We are also interested in expanding the imaging capabilities of video pellet systems in the near future, such as ultrasound images from endoscopic high finger light sources.'
Shenzhen Sunner Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. mainly focuses on the application of special LED and module, endoscopic LED light source, endoscopic high display finger light source, endoscopic LED light source module, medical lighting and UV market.
