Application of LED cold light source in medical field

The traditional light sources are gradually being replaced. Currently, medical LED light sources can cover various medical application fields, including psychotherapy, UV curing, POT therapy, photochemistry, beauty and skin rejuvenation, and disease treatment. Moreover, different wavelengths correspond to different application fields of medical light sources, such as disinfection and sterilization, biochemical instruments, and phototherapy devices; Infrared therapy device; Medical endoscope light sources, surgical shadowless lamps, surgical microscopes, etc. are all in different wavelength ranges, and different wavelengths also make them suitable for various medical fields.

The application of medical light sources in the medical field can be roughly divided into the following categories:

1. Functional lighting inside and outside hospital buildings

Except for the display of medical resources, guidance and other information (referring to commonly used display screens), most functional lighting uses fluorescent fluorescent fluorescent lamps, grille lamps, ceiling lamps, spotlights, tube lamps, etc.

2. Speculating lighting

The light source of medical endoscopes is mainly used for lesion detection and observation, and is also a transmissive, small angle, directional lighting fixture. Internal medical endoscope light source and external body. External directional lighting fixtures that can be moved, such as laryngoscope lights, oral lights, etc. Currently, halogen lamps are mainly used, and in vivo they cooperate with optical fibers for internal endoscopy of the stomach, intestines, anus, etc

3. Phototherapy - Light Radiation Therapy

Phototherapy is the use of photobiological effects to stimulate or inhibit the growth of human skin or certain tissue cells using specific wavelengths of light, in order to achieve therapeutic goals. The therapeutic effect of phototherapy is becoming increasingly prominent. High energy blue light with wavelengths between 400 and 420nm is used to treat acne; Illuminate the skin with yellow light around 570nm or red light around 630nm to rejuvenate the skin.

Compared to traditional methods, it is more in line with the special requirements of phototherapy for light sources. It mainly has the characteristics of wide wavelength selection range, controllable and adjustable radiation amount and irradiation spot, pure light color, no harmful spectral components, and electrical safety. Therefore, it will inevitably become the preferred health light source to replace tradition and an effective clinical treatment method
